Halruinth, Emperor of Evil, Knight of Terror, Archduke of the Burning Sea and Fifth of the Name is the supreme ruler of the three known planes of Hell. Though despised by his subjects, even the most powerful devils serve in sheer terror. Halruinth has made himself involved with the Translucent War, often interceding in pivotal battles of the war. It is believed his motivation is to topple the balance of the heavens and take them for himself.
There are no known depictions of Halruinth, but he represents the purest form of evil. His methods are orderly and effective, but he has known to dabble with unleashing pure chaos as needed. He seeks to shape existence to his vision.
